30 minutes a day for 30 days? | Dubai Fitness Challenge 2019

The 18th of October marked the start of the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2019! Yes, it’s that time again!
Residents of Dubai have once more been challenged to be active for 30 minutes a day for 30 days!
Even if you’re not in Dubai, I encourage you to challenge yourself to get in at least 30 minutes of exercise every day for 30 days!
It’s a fun challenge and it might kickstart a habit of being more active n a regular basis, helping you to ultimately reach your health and fitness goals.

Now, the question is: How do you stay active for 30 minutes 30 days in a row? I have 4 little tips for you to make it easier!

1: WALK MORE

When it comes to staying active outside of the gym, walking is the easiest, most convenient activity you can do. I always turn to walking if I can’t make it to the gym. Instead of tv time after dinner, try a 30-minute walk. It’s good for your digestion as well as your fitness!

2: TRY SOMETHING NEW DURING DUBAI FITNESS CHALLENGE 2019

Take advantage of all the free classes during the Dubai Fitness Challenge!

On this page, you can find a list of all the venues and events that are on during the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
Most of them are free and each class is 30 minutes long! What are you waiting for?

If you’re not in Dubai, check out if there are any free classes in your local area. Maybe someone is having a weekly boot camp class is the local park? Most gyms also offer a free trial session if you just ask!

3: HOME WORKOUTS

Hop on YouTube and search for bodyweight-only HIIT home workouts or maybe a gentle hatha yoga flow?
Listen to your body and just pick the workout that suits your mood and your space best.

4: HOW I DO IT

Even though a 30-minute-a-day-for-30 days-challenge is a great kickstart and a lot of fun, I use more of a long-term approach to staying consistent with exercise.
