My Story - Part 3/3

Competition Prep – yay or nay? | Physique Update

Sooooo… To follow up on my post from January 2nd: “Competition prep | Am I really doing this?“… It looks like I won’t be competing any time soon. If ever.

Why? To be honest, I don’t feel like it calls on me any more. Like, I always loved the road to the stage more than the actual stage anyway. And recently, I kinda like being the one to judge if my conditioning and symmetry is on point in the way I like. I don’t really care about the judges opinions. Or anyone elses, for that matter. If you like me, fine. If you don’t like me, that’s fine too. And that feeling is better than ANY road to the stage. I love my butt and my curves, but I also love my muscles and my flat stomach. And at this weight, I can have it all. I’m not tracking or sticking to 1300 cals anymore, just went back to eating intuitively.

In August 2017 my weight topped at around 87 kg. On January 2018 2nd my weight said 79,7 and today, 1 month later, it’s down to 78,1.

February 2nd, 78,1 kg.

And except for being sick for like 2 weeks (which by the way increases my appetite and makes me not go to the gym!) I have been living exactly the life I wanted in the process! Eating healthy, nutrient rich food most of the time, spiced up with some dinner and lunch dates with friends, movie nights with caramel popcorn galore and 3 course dinners, a few drinks here and there aaaaaand maybe a late night stop at McDonalds…
It’s all a part of my lifestyle, and I love how I can do anything I want and still see results, as long as I eat intuitively and don’t overeat on anything* (*too often. I’m not perfect, haha!)

I don’t know how much longer I will be losing weight. I wouldn’t mind going down a bit more, but it’s not something I’m obsessing about.
I’ll continue to eat the way I do now and work hard in the gym and I guess my body will find where it’s supposed to be sooner or later.

Would you like more posts where I talk about what I eat in a day or maybe over the course of a week, and share my workouts? If so, let me know!

    Knus mette
