I work with both men and women, but as a personal trainer with a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy I specialize in training for scoliosis and post natal body sculpting & reduction of diastasis recti.
I’ve found there is a gap between physio therapy and personal training. Physical therapy tends to focus only on function. Personal training only on reaching your fitness goals. But in some cases you need a trainer with knowledge of both worlds, so you can safely reach your fitness goals and improve function, without doing anything that might be harmful.
I want to help people who are stuck in this gap, having been through physiotherapy but who are now afraid or unsure of how they can reach their fitness goals and improve general health without causing harm.
I work with a range of other clients that require a trainer with my unique background. This include but is not limited to clients suffering from obesity, eating disorders, stress, depression and anxiety, cancer, old injuries that still causes limitations, asthma, pre natal, chronic pain etc.
I have a varied background in health and fitness, and recently also added Hatha Yoga to my list of qualifications.
I hold a bachelors degree in physiotherapy from Copenhagen, Denmark and my additional personal training qualifications include training for weight loss, improved body composition (fat loss/muscle gain), cardiovascular improvement, strength gain, rehabilitation, sports specific/prehab, pre/post natal exercise and nutrition.
Personally I have competed several times in Bikini Fitness in the IFBB and have experience with long distance running, Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting and general strength and cadiovascular training. Personally I suffer from moderately severe scoliosis but because of the right training I don’t experience any serious issues with it so far in my life.
