What a week!

This week has been more than hectic! I’ve done no less  than 45 hours of personal training (which is actually my all time record in one week) + driving to and from my clients. It’s been an 80+ hour work week. And if that wasn’t stressful enough, I also had to deal with someone crashing into my car while it was parked outside the gym on Tuesday… Ugh. So whenever I had a free second I’ve been calling and going to insurance companies, garages and trying to deal with all...

Places to visit: Tania’s Teahouse

When visiting the newly-opened Tania’s Teahouse on Jumeirah Beach Road, you don’t have to waste time looking for parking, as they offer free valet parking for their costumers. In Dubai, that’s a big plus! Walking up to the two-story villa, you are greeted by an incredibly Insta-worthy light pink front door… Uuuugh, this place has earned a tiny place in my heart already! The cafés main focus is on anything tea-related (as you’d expect from the name) but they also offer a range of light, healthy meals and sweet desserts....

Places to visit: Society Café and Lounge

Going out for breakfast is one of my favorite things to do as it sets a great vibe for the rest of my day. One of my breakfast favorites is Avocado Toast. I’ve long been on a hunt for the best avocado toast in Dubai… Granted, it’s hard to get avocado on toast wrong, and there are many great places to choose from that all make excellent versions, but if you want the best – where should you go? Society Café in Jumeirah 1 is the answer! Not only is their avocado toast...

Breakfast with a view #MyClassic

Sponsored post When I have guests from home visiting me in Dubai, I always take them to breakfast in Atmosphere Restaurant on the 122nd floor of Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world. Taking something as ordinary as a classic breakfast – you know, it’s just eggs, pastries, yoghurt, fruit and lots of cappiccinos – and making it extraordinary by indulging in it at the highest placed restaurant in the world… It makes me feel grateful to live in such an extraordinary place, and reminds me that the...

Places to visit: Lime Tree Café & Kitchen

This weekend my friend and I went for lunch at Lime Tree Café & Kitchen on Sheikh Zayed Road. I’d never been before and from the outside it doesn’t look like much, just another grey building on Sheikh Zayed… But when we went inside was delightfully surprised by everything from the atmosphere over the interior to the great food and reasonable prices (reasonable for Dubai at least…) I was feeling hungry and since the place had emphasis on using organic fresh fruit and vegetables and healthy cooking without excess salt...
