Low Back Pain Friendly Glute Workout

Sports Bra Recommendation & a FREE Glute Workout For You!

I had this new sports bra sent to me from Yvettesports. If you’re on the market for a new sports bra for high impact activities (or if you’re like me and just prefer good support no matter what activity you’re doing) I really recommend checking them out!

It’s genuinely one of the most comfortable sports bra’s I own, and at only $25 it’s very reasonably priced! The exact sports bra I’m wearing is sold old, but apart from the colors, it’s similar to this one. You can find their other high impact sports bra’s here.

I haven’t been to the gym since last week as I’ve been working a ton, traveling and celebrating my friend’s wedding in Mumbai and generally just been so hung up with life that I decided to stick to walks & light yoga for the rest of this week. My back pain is almost gone but I still feel it a bit, so I’ve decided gentle movement for a week is better than pushing through when I really don’t feel like it. I could go to the gym, but I want to let my body (and mind) rest and recover for a few days.

That, however, doesn’t mean I don’t want to give you a bit of workout motivation!
So I decided to share this super quick and effective glute workout that I did before we left for Mumbai. Get ready to feel sore the next day!

Quick & Effective Glute Workout:

Warm up: 10 min. bike/stairmaster lvl. 10

BB Squat 1×15, 1×10, 1×8, 1×6 (increasing weight every set)

Back extension 1×15, 1×12, 1×12, 1×8 (increasing weight every set)

One leg hip thrusts (low/no weight) 3×15

Machine hip abduction 3×20

If you’re looking for more fun glute workouts to try, I recommend checking out the glute workout that made me sore for 3 days, my low back pain friendly glute workout or my glute workout suitable for anyone with painful knees!
